Biofuel Made in the USA

Biofuels energy is a clean-running,
American-made alternative to foreign oil. Biofuels energy is also an
alternative energy source that’s increasing in popularity as the technology
to create it becomes more sophisticated. As far as Homeland Security
goes, developing biofuels energy makes a lot more sense than spending
billions on the war in Iraq and the weapons that defend the Middle East.

There have arisen issues with
biofuels energy in recent years that require more research and development
to determine the best alternatives to fossil fuel.  Unintended
consequences like raising the price of grain—which means life or death
in third world countries—must be seriously considered and avoided.

Alternative energy sources
for biofuels do exist. Making biofuels energy out of algae is an alternative
energy source that does not compete with food supplies.  We cannot
be discouraged by some early attempts at biofuels energy that have not
panned out at a time when it’s so important to develop alternative
energy on a national and global basis.
